A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAPLAIN
Greetings to Branch 530
It is ironic that while this pandemic has made the world a very small place. it has also forced us to be physically distant in a way that we have never experienced. In the midst of this some have found very creative ways to be present with others, especially through the use of technology. Many churches now send out weekly videos in place of attending a worship service. Others simply wave from afar or just make a phone call. All of these can help with the new level of boredom and being restricted to our home. This can seem like a very unnatural confinement.
Every month at our Branch Meeting I ask if you know of anyone who might appreciate a visit.
Now, of course, that is impossible. I am, however, available for phone calls if you wish. You don't have to be sick to call. Perhaps you simply need someone to listen during these challenging times.
So, I have listed my contact information below and please don't hesitate to connect.
This is also Holy Week and this Sunday is Easter.
This year Easter could be a bit lonelier than usual but you can still give your loved ones a phone call.
Our love and care for others can also go viral.
