HAPPY JULY 1ST!

Well Comrades and Friends,

2020 brings us a Dominion Day like no other, that's for sure. Although the Branch had to cancel the planned "Dominion Day at the Legion" party, we still want to wish everyone a "Happy Canada Day"!

(Or "Happy Dominion Day", as it is still legally called, but that's a story I've posted before and won't repeat this year.)

Lest We Forget, July 1st is also the Anniversary of Beaumont Hamel, a Battle dear to the hearts of those of you with down-east roots. https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/battle-of-beaumont-hamel

By the way, if any of you are looking for a little "Legion medicine", the patio at Branch 532 New Hamburg will be open July 1st from 1-5.
