Our thanks and congratulations to the local athletes who made up Team Waterloo in the District "C" Track and Field meet in Kincardine June 22nd.
Jen Elizarov, Avery Hastings, Isaac Jyrkama, Marcus Kanhai, Will Leather, Joey McIntyre, and Collette Wolfe, it's a little cliché to say you're all winners just for taking part, but in this case it's certainly true. Many of Canada's finest Olympic athletes grew up in the Legion Track and Field programme.
Jen, Avery, Marcus, and Collette will be moving on to provincial level competition July 12th and 13th in Brampton.
