It’s The Best Music Anywhere!

HI JAZZ FRIENDS!

WELL, EASTER IS OVER AND I WANT TO THANK A FEW PEOPLE.

I WANT TO THANK “PETER LIU & THE POLLCATS” FOR TAKING THEIR TIME TO COME AND PLAY FOR US ON EASTER WEEKEND. NOT EVERY MUSICIAN IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. BUT THEY WERE.

I ALSO WANT TO THANK THE DEDICATED, SUPPORTIVE FANS WHO HAD, OR TOOK, THE TIME TO COME OUT ON THIS SPECIAL FAMILY-ORIENTED WEEKEND TO SUPPORT OUR JAZZ CLUB.

AS MOST OF YOU KNOW, OR YOU SHOULD, IT IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO HIRE THE MUSICIANS WHO PLAY OUR KIND OF MUSIC FOR 32 SATURDAYS OF THE YEAR. IT IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT FOR BAND LEADERS TO KEEP THEIR BANDS TOGETHER.

THIS IS DUE PARTLY TO ATTRITION, WHERE WE HAVE LOST SEVERAL MUSICIANS OVER THE YEARS, OR DUE TO THE FACT THAT MUSICIANS OFTEN HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS. AND, OF COURSE, OUR GENRE OF MUSIC IS OBVIOUSLY NOT FOR EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH.

SO AGAIN THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FANS AND MUSICIANS WHO HAVE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT US THRU THIS PAST YEAR AND MANY YEARS BEFORE.

WILL WE BE CONTINUING FOR ANOTHER YEAR?

WE’LL SEE!!

THAT WILL DEPEND ON YOUR INTEREST AND CONTINUING SUPPORT.
WE’LL DEFINITELY TRY OUR BEST.
W.

KEEP JAZZIN’

SEE YOU SATURDAY

A THOUGHT FOR SENIORS

A WOMAN WOKE UP WITH A START IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND HER HUSBAND ASKED HER WHAT WAS THE MATTER. SHE SAID, “I JUST HAD A DREAM THAT YOU GAVE ME A PEARL NECKLACE FOR ST. VALENTINE'S DAY.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IT MEANS?”

“YOU’LL KNOW TONIGHT” HER HUSBAND SAID.

THAT EVENING HE CAME HOME WITH A SMALL PACKAGE AND GAVE IT TO HIS WIFE. DELIGHTED, SHE QUICKLY OPENED IT TO FIND A BOOK TITLED
“THE MEANING OF DREAMS”

“IT’S GONNA BE A GOOD ONE”
