SPORTS POLICY AS OF OCT 1 2020

When we move operations back upstairs on October 1st, the following SPORTS POLICY will be in place, and enforced.

CORONAVIRUS BRANCH 530 SPORTS POLICY

SNOOKER:
•Only Branch 530 Members in good standing may use the snooker table
•Masks to be worn while playing
•All spectators to remain out of playing area
•Social distancing (the 6-foot rule) must be maintained, both between players, and other patrons of the Branch
•Please bring your own cue (and chalk) if you have one
•Any Branch cues used must be wiped with sanitizer before and after you are done playing, and thr balls, rails, racks, etc must be cleaned after your last game
•Hand sanitizer must be used before and after your game
•Competitive/league play is not allowed


SHUFFLEBOARD:
•Only Branch 530 members in good standing may use the shuffleboard table
•Masks to be worn while playing
•All Spectators to remain seated
•Social distancing (the 6-foot rule) must be maintained both between players, and other patrons of the Branch
•Hand sanitizer must be used before and after your game
•Competitive/league play is not allowed


CARDS:
•Play only allowed amongst Branch 530 members in good standing
•Social distancing (the 6-foot rule) is to be maintained, but if impossible due to the nature of the game, then masks must be worn while playing

•A group of two, or four, may enjoy a game of cribbage, euchre, etc. but only at the tabledesignated for that purpose
•Please bring your own cards, markers, crib board, etc. and take them with you when you leave
•Hand sanitizer must be used before and after the game
•Competitive/league play is not allowed


DARTS:
•Branch 530 Members in good standing may use boards 1 or 3 in the front room
•Masks to be worn while playing

•Please bring your own darts and marking chalk, and take them with you when you leave
•Spectators to remain seated
•Social distancing (the 6-foot rule) to be maintained between players as practicable, and always between other patrons of the Branch
•Hand sanitizer must be used before and after your game
•Competitive/league play not allowed at this time

 

The above policy has been approved by the Waterloo Regional Health Unit inspector, and we believe it to be a good balance of enjoyment of the game, while lowering risk of coronavirus transmission.

Kindly abide by the policy.
